Are you into Police procedural tv series?

There are a lot of police procedural tv series. I am not a big fan of this genre but two of my favorite tv shows are under this category. The mentalist and CSI are one of my favorite. Criminal minds is also the best series for me, but the characters are working for FBI. I am not certain if this will fall under this category.

I used to watch CSI, but too many cast changes, and I just got away from Criminal Minds. I still watch a lot of Law and Order reruns though.

@dawnald I like the Criminal Minds tv series, but the story is too serious as it is based in some real life events.

@silvermist I finished all of the episodes of The Mentalist. I am still watching the latest season of Criminal Minds. These are my favorite as well.

I used to like CSI: Miami. And I liked Criminal Minds until it started to depress me. I just started watching the new version of MacGyver. I think it fits in that category. It costars George Eads, who was Nick on the original CSI.

@AmbiePam Criminal Minds is such a great show, but knowing that these crimes happened in real life is depressing. I was shocked with these types of people.

I love to watch any tv shows that has a mystery to solve so that would include all police procedural tv shows. And it would be a bonus if it's done in a clever way like how Jane does in The Mentalist. I just love The Mentalist but sadly it has ended its run.

@jstory07 The Mentalist is a fun show. I finished all of the season and for me, it is cute and fun specially their love stories.
