Martha had a whistle. She used it around the house. It made a loud, piercing sound That would wake up cat and mouse. She blew it twice a day. She wore it around her neck. It bothered her neighbors greatly. It was the lowest of high tech. Why did she blow her whistle? No one could figure it out. But for mousy, little Martha It beat trying to shout. One day, Martha was given a bullhorn. She put her whistle in the drawer. Now Martha can be heard quite loudly And needs the whistle nevermore.
