Doomsday VIII: Earth Out of Orbit

Earth normally has a regular orbit around the sun but what if a rogue star disrupts the orbit of the earth? The first thing astronomers would see are the stars in the wrong place.
One day after the Earth leaves orbit, it would travel 1/2 million miles per day towards the sun and temperatures would rise. Alaska (which doesn't use AC units), would reach the upper 90's and hurricanes would begin.
Two weeks later we would be 7 1/2 million miles closer to the sun and people in Europe would see temps of 100 degrees and heatstroke would be the common killer.
After three weeks we would be 13 million miles closer and water would be evaporating from canals, lakes and rivers. All snow would melt and it would be 130 degrees or higher at the equator and massive sand storms would take place.
After 30 days, all fertile land would be desert and with earth being 70% water even the oceans would be affected. People would be migrating to ice caves but as the glaciers start to melt, ocean levels would rise flooding all coastal regions.
At 47 days, we would be 62 million miles from the sun and the global temperature would be 265 degrees. Any humans left would boil and the oceans would evaporate causing steam.
At 65 days the Earth would be 6.5 million miles from the sun and traveling at 500,000 miles per hour. At 1,472 degrees, everything starts to melt and at 1 million miles from the sun, there would be massive earthquakes, volcanoes would explode, the water would be completely gone and the Earth explodes.
I think a bottle of pills and a few shots of Tequila would be the better way to go.

Hope we don't have to experience either!
