Depending on who you ask, aliens have been around for hundreds of years (or longer). It goes beyond Area 51 or the secret doomsday bunker under an airport in Colorado. One of the earliest recorded events happened in 1896; thousands of people were awoken by the sound of machinery and gunfire. Eventually the government released an explanation but with so many witnesses seeing it, not a lot of people were on board.
Fast-forward to 1992 and things between the aliens and humans have become more interesting. Instead of seeing one or two UFO's, onlookers are seeing upward of a hundred flying through the canyon. That's when the rumors started to spread about underground installations that the aliens and military were sharing. I had known about the secret testing rooms in these buildings from other documentaries but if this your first time see and hearing about the bottom floors of the compounds it can be a little shocking. Strangely enough, a majority of the underground testing facilities are located in the Devil's Triangle (the west coast version). That includes Los Angeles, Long Beach and Catalina Island.
A lot of authentic archived footage is show in the documentary although the alien autopsies are extremely sketchy. The good things about this is that it is part of a series ad doesn't try to force the alien concept down your throat. With newly released papers from different agencies (thanks to the Freedom of Information Act) alien theorists have been able to piece more of the puzzle together however huge chunks of data were redacted before they were released to the public.
