John Breech reports the news former Oakland Raiders head coach John Madden, 80, is not a fan of the current National Football League Thursday Night Football games since in his opinion it is not safe for the players to play a football game four days after their last football game. Madden feels that the best solution for a Thursday Night Football game would be for the teams that play on that evening to come off a bye week. Good idea from the former coach and football analyst. Madden also believes one reason that the ratings of the National Football League are down is to due to overexposure of the product. Some football pundits believe it is due to the prime time games on Monday and Thursday evening having bad match ups for the viewers to see. However John does like the Thanksgiving Thursday football game to look at since they are usually great games on a holiday where we are should thankful to be entertained by a sports competition. I seriously doubt the powers that be at the National Football League will heed the advice of the former Raiders coach since the owners of the teams care to make money by having at least three days of football a week on television.

John has a good point since football players are not Supermen or Iron Men.

At least two days of pro football is enough for the average viewer. Three games a week is pushing it too far.
