R J Anderson reports the news former Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim left handed starting pitcher C J Wilson has drawn interest from the Miami Marlins to join their team.
Wilson is currently a free agent that pitched in one rehabilitation game during the 2016 baseball season before he went an operation in July for a shoulder injury.
Wilson last pitched in the Major Leagues on July 28, 2015 for the Angels before he had an operation to repair an elbow injury which ended his pitching season in 2015.
Wilson, 36, would likely if he does sign a contract with the Marlins would be offered a minor league contract or a one year contract to attempt a comeback in the Major Leagues in 2017.

If they sign that guy, it better be for minimum wage. He collected millions from the Angels while sitting on his behind.

You are correct since C J has not pitched in the Majors since 2005.
