Favourite Grunge songs #7 - No Rain by Blind Melon

Hey there everyone. I haven't been keeping up with my music lists or posting discussions in general for the last 3 weeks. I am going to try to post more hopefully! I hope all is well with all you wonderful people :) The band, Blind Melon. They formed in LA, in 1990, and were MAINLY active for about a 5 year period, up until vocalist Shannon Hoon's death in 1995. The band did also get back together at different periods between 1995 and current day (they are currently together presently). The band is one of those one-hit-wonder types, with the song below, that will be linked (and in the title) being the song they are mainly known for!

Thanks Scott, I appreciate that :) I love Blind Melon, I feel like they have lots of great songs, but went with this one since it is a classic and well known one, though I do love it a lot too of course.

I always liked this song. If I remember right the little bumble bee girl became famous for a short period of time also.

Yes, great song isn't it? Oh really.. I had no clue! That's interesting, but when this song came out, I was very young, and with all 90's/grunge in general, so I don't remember too much.

A fine 90s alternative song. I like when the song takes off after Hoon's vocals.

Definitely! :) I agree with that too, though I also love how the song starts off as well, with the guitar.
