Writing a book

I have made several attempts at trying to write a book and for whatever reason at the time had put it a side and got busy with life I guess you can say.
Well I've been contemplating about possibly doing it again only going in a completely different direction than I intended in the first place. Maybe that was problem with my other attempts maybe the direction I trying to go wasn't right.
Over the past weekend I've actually sat down and wrote about two pages. I guess we'll see how it goes this time.

I have had a book inside of me for longer than I can remember. When my husband was alive, we used to talk about the story all the time and he encouraged me to get the book written. When he passed away, I lost all interest in writing it. But I will never say never. And it's great that you've begun to get yours written! Just keep at it!

@AutumnSnow thanks! I know he is still urging me from the other side. I just need to get through a bit more grief so I'd be able to concentrate and then I might be able to get it all out.

Good luck. I hope it goes well for you. Writing a book is not easy. It takes a lot of work and an enormous amount of patience.

That is so very true. I guess we need to make an effort to make time to write.
