The powers that be that run the National Football League ought to know who pays their salaries which is the fan base of the football teams in their league.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown who likes to do a dance in the end zone after he scores a touchdown get a penalty flag thrown by the referees because he violate the "excessive rule" celebration.
Come on can't a football player who makes a great catch thrown by a quarterback during a game have some fun?
I do know the one way you prevent any football player from doing his dance in the end zone is to prevent him from scoring a touchdown.
Some rugby fans have said that if Brown taunted a rugby player if he scored he would be subject to a beating from the opposing team as payback.
Come on National Football League officials, let the players have fun playing a kids game.

I always thought that was a dumb rule. They are celebrating not taunting. They are human beings excited and happy and demonstrating emotion. The NBA does not penalize players for fist pumping and dancing when making a dramatic basket. The crowds love this stuff.

I get excited when I do something great like finish a survey or execute a great shot in bowling. Football players have a right to be happy working hard to score a touchdown.

They don't call it The No Fun League for nothing. They might as well call it the Chad Johnson rule

What angers is that the players are entertainers and they have a right to give the fans what they want.

The NFL gets criticized alot for being a "zero fun league" what the heck?...I think celebrations should be allowed as long as they don't delay the game.

I used to bowl and if I executed a great shot why not pump my fist and yell "Yay!"
