What can you do with $500 USD in Christmas time ?

I think it depends on where you are living at ? If you are living in Hong Kong , $500 USD is not much for Christmas. Let's say a buffet in a five star hotel in Christmas season , it will cost you $100 USD already. Table for two ? Another $100. Buying some gifts for friends and family members ? Another $200 will be gone. The rest of the $100 will be good for your own Christmas gift if you want any. But if you are living in countries where $500 USD means salary that is good enough to feed the whole family for 3 months, then $500 can do a lot for the family in Christmas time. What do you think ? Put aside the $500 for the future. One has to think about upcoming dental bills rather than Christmas.
