Teen who was relentlessly bullied kills herself in front of her family

an incredibly sad story! :( she was beautiful! she wasn't fat! cyber-bullying or bullying is a very serious issue! i can't imagine the pain that her family is going through right now. the painful loss of a child in front of your eyes- in your house. very heartbreaking! as a parent, i also fear that my child has been bullied in school by people that doesn't really care. my son is only 10 years old and he might not know or realize now that he might been bullied in school. i tell him that if your classmates or anyone in school say bad things about you or make you feel bad or make fun of you- ignore them or walk away from them or report it to your principal or teachers. most importantly- i encourage him to be open to me. when he had his braces on- i told him that when you go back to school; people might laugh at you or ask you why you have it on or will tell him mean things.. and i told him that you needed to have the braces on because we want to have a nice healthy teeth. i want him to be comfortable when he smiles. i told him that you don't have to be ashamed to be school with your braces on. if people makes a big deal out of it, then that's their problem not yours. i hope that her soul may find peace and also her family may find a way to heal.
