Book Signing Today

I have a busy day ahead of me so can't linger here very long. My Book Signing for Scarred - second edition, starts at noon and runs to three. I need to be there by 11, so I don't have a lot of time to get ready to go.
I still need to shower, eat, and run to the bank so I have change for the books I hope to sell.
I shall return to tell you all about it and how many books I sold. So say a prayer for me that I sell all I have on hand - 20. That would put me over the top happy. So far I haven't sold a lot at my book signings.

I do hope that you did well today. Whenever my husband gets his book published we hope to sell loads to fellow employees and customers. The way it's going, though, that could be many years down the road. We found a publisher that loves his book although she did recommend that he cut out quite a few words as she says it's too long for a first novel. I still have to read it over again to see whether it all ties together as good as it did before he bagan cutting.
The publisher is and has been in a court battle between herself and the editor she originally partnered up with. She provided the finances and it's a long story and a long court battle. We don't have the fund to self-publish at this time. If we did, I'm sure he'd sell enough to make up for the investment, but...

@just4him We've checked out createspace before, but I was thinking they still charged a bit for the service? Maybe we'll have to look at that again.
