What's Your Favorite Sandwich?

Do you even eat sandwiches? Some people do. Some people don’t. There are certainly dozens of different kinds of sandwiches, so it could be difficult to choose just one for some people.
But, not for me. My favorite sandwich has been a Reuben sandwich from the first time I ever ate one about 40 years ago or so. There is just something about the combination flavors that I can’t resist.
I often go to Arby’s for a Reuben, but now Subway has a Reuben. I tried it and it wasn’t quite as good, but it wasn’t bad. Some people don’t like sauer kraut but it’s what makes the sandwich.
So what is your favorite sandwich.

Oh yeah! I often fix a grilled cheese sandwich for myself. I love the crunch of the grilled bread and the taste of the melted cheese. YUM.

Probably Cheddar cheese on white bread to have with Heinz Cream of Tomato soup - an excellent combination!

Soup and sandwich. Always a good choice, I think. I love me some Cream of Tomato soup with a sandwich.

@IreneVincent Here Heinz have introduuced that rare thing: a soup-in-a-cup which, in the case of tomato, tastes as good as the canned version

@asfarasiknow Yes, I have seen those at the grocery store. The only thing is: do they contain a lot of preservatives? I wonder about that. I'll have to check it out.

Right now I like chicken wraps, but growing up I was totally addicted to peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwiches with chocolate milk of course. I also loved my mom's egg salad and tuna sandwiches. I don't think my IBS stomach can handle them now. Occasionally I will have an assorted meats sub at Subway. But then, I think my all time favorite as an adult might be BLT.

@IreneVincent I've never actually had a lettuce wrap. I don't think I'd like it. Sometimes I can't get the taste of lettuce out of my mouth long after eating, or it feels like a piece of lettuce stuck in my throat. We don't have "small plates" here, but I usually order something from the starter menu as my meal.

@patgalca I had never seen "small plates" on a menu before, but I really did like the idea. For those who can't eat a lot, like me, it was perfect.

That sounds lovely and the picture is amazing. I love the sandwiches from Subway.I am a die hard fan of their sandwiches.I like the Mexican Patty one.I love the sauces they put to make the sandwiches.I feel like having one right now

Yes, I eat Subway sandwiches quite often actually. Now, they have a Reuben. I just tried their Reuben for the first time last week. It was good, but not as good as Arby's Reuben, like I said.

I ate a PB&J sandwich last night as a matter of fact. I had extra crunchy PB and Simply Fruit apricot Jelly. It was delicious!! First, PB&J sandwich I've had in ages.
