What did you dream of being when you "grew up"? Has that dream become a reality?

One major dream of mine as a child was to become a scientist. I was in school until recently working on that goal. I am hoping to get into genetics and nanotechnology.

As of right now, I am not back in school yet. I am, however, learning everything I can about the recent advances in stem cell research. It is something that I find extremely beautiful and fascinating. Hopefully, once my husband gets into grad school, I will be able to get back in school myself =)

You see please, if all the dreams of everybody will become reality, then there will be no difference in dreams and realities. Then dreams will be also taken as reallities. When I grew up, my dreams were a lover of Nature and all time student of Nature. That has more or less become a reality by this time. This is not related to my profession or social position, since this concept is there with me from my very childhood. I always care for this dream for a more reality to derive benefit to all, known or unknown to me worldwide. Thanks.

When I grew up I wanted to be a rock star like Jem and the Holograms. My cousin and I used to put on costumes and put on shows for family, friends, or whoever we could get to listen. I'm not a rock star... obviously. I'm actually terrified to sing in front of people for some reason.
