Spices best bought in powder !!

There is some spices that you are best to get them in powder. It help for digestion too. They the : Turmeric, Cardamom ( can be put in a rice dish ). Cinnamon, Ginger , and, Pink salt, sea salt. They help to have some energy too on top of being spices. In the winter you want to balance sweet , sour , salty , adding some pungent toward the end of the winter. While some spices I get in powder form, some like ginger and hot peppers I am still able to get fresh and I prefer fresh when they are available.

@beenice2 Here we can get a few fresh spices but for most we have to be happy with powder.

My mom uses fresh spices rather than powder. Here we get like that and we prefer that too. If we want in powder my mother would grind it herself.

Kandase yes the cinnamon bark is hard to use it is true, it is cheap.
