I think it really depends on your priority and all the related issue as well . Such as : finance, time and vacation, is the relationship close enough for you to make you attend such a wedding, jet lag after more than 19 hours flight ,etc. What do you think ? Share with us .

It really depends on the financial crisis I'm facing at that moment and the closeness of the relation and at the moment priorities. If I can adjust the finances and vacation with out much loss or trouble, then I would definitely attend wedding...Because wedding is the place where you can meet all your family members at one place and can enjoy keeping aside all your worries for some time....you can re-energize yourself.... So, when I can adjust my priorities, why not attend the wedding and have some good quality time with family!?

It seems that there are so many difficulties to attend to the wedding. I think it is OK that you don't show up yourself. They will understand it. After all, it is an expensive and long journey.
