My Photos Were Wiped Out In My Phone

I was deleting some photos stored in my android phone because it says I have limited space. So I need to unclogged those unwanted photos and which I have already use. I thought it was okay. But when I went to My Files and check all the photos in it, then hit the delete button, all the photos are gone. Accident. Or maybe I was just dumb on this things.
What now, I need to store another set of photos. What I was dismayed is that there are so many photos deleted which I just taken during the Feria De Candon Festival. Lots of photos that supposed to be included in the post. Oh my, crying over the spilled beans.

When you have limited space, go to settingsstorage cached data then delete the cached data
Uninstall all apps you do not use
Buy and install an SD and move all pictures and documents there

@louievill the android (which i only use for taking pictures, playing simple games and reading news in bed) is full of pictures. it's a hand me down with lots of icons i don't use, but don't know which ones to delete/uninstall.
