Just Heard Some Great News Concerning My Paycheck

Last month my managers made a mistake on my hours for one week giving me one extra day of work. That meant that my paycheck was about one hundred dollars more than normal. My checks fluctuate, but within dollars if even that much. I let them know of their error and my next check was quite low as they took that extra pay back out.
Today, when I was looking at my current check, which was again higher than normal, I found that my pay was correct this time, but they neglected to take out for my medical and other related expenses that I pay for each week. I really didn't want to make that call again for it impacts the next check, but call I did.
I found out that 2016 has 53 weeks instead of the normal of 52, or maybe it's just 53 paydates instead. Because of that, certain deductions weren't taken out since they average the payments using the normal 52 week amount. I wasn't happy about having to alert them of their mistake once again, but I'm now happy that I did. This way I don't have to question when they'd notice it or when the extra funds would be removed from an upcoming check.
They had a notice on their phone system explaining the situation for anyone that may call to let them know. Such a relief and blessing. With this addition, I may just be able to pay my mortgage earlier than I usually do for this month and still pay other bills and maybe have some left over for food too.

It's great, yes. This will be the earliest I'll have my mortgage paid for any month.

I don't know how much enjoyment I'll get out of it, but at least I can pay a few bills this time without waiting until the last minute, and that's always nice.

It is scary when companies make those big mistakes. I am glad that the second mistake was not a mistake.

It's nice that I didn't have to do much digging to get it straightened out. It would have been nice had they put up posters ahead of time and then we'd all know before getting concerned first. But, at least it's easier this time around.

So am I. Even though it's nice to get the larger amount the next one is so small when they have to fix it that you can barely use it for anything.
I'm also going to the dr on monday to double-check how much I should be exercising my hand to ensure full movement when it's totally healed.

I'm just hoping my husband doesn't get carried away with buying unneeded things after work. He's already getting milk and some carrots for the supper in the crock pot.
