Many years ago I switched on the television and a film was just starting starring Kirk Douglas. It was called Lust for Life and it was telling the story of the artist Vincent Van Gogh. Like most people I know a few things about the artist but was interested in the film and to find out more ....Kirk was absolutely amazing in it and not only is it one of my most favourite films but it got me interested in art and the works of Vincent Van Gogh.

A fine movie. If you ever get to Amsterdam, you must visit the Van Gogh museum.
