This is a TiVo device however, that can store many more shows for you to watch later. But I imagine the idea of a 3 Terabyte computer hard disc would be available for expanding memory storage for personal home computer users as well. I have a 2 TB hard drive myself. It is so big that I will never need another one. But, then I have to use a 2 TB external backup drive. Now there is a 3 Terabyte TiVo available: Look at the video about this below:

Crazy, isn't it? I remember when my mom bought the first 1 GB drive we had. It was an external drive that connected by SCSI cable... USB wasn't around in those days. These days, the store I work for sells desktop computers that are smaller than that hard drive was. I think the largest external drive we sell in our store today is either 5 or 6 TB. Some of them even come with cloud access so you can retrieve your files from anywhere you might be. And a Seagate 5 TB drive will only set you back about $150 at the most these days... I think that 1 GB drive was around $500 or so when my mom bought it back in the late 90's. There was a time when I said I'd never have a use for more than the 100 GB hard drive I had in one of my first laptops. These days, I think I have at least 100 GB of assorted photos on my hard drive, and possibly more than that if I take into account all the old stuff on my external drives, too. A lot of that is simply because I shoot RAW, though... they take up considerably more space than JPG files do.
