Bad news for Carolina Panthers fans to report on Saturday. Luke Kuechly has been ruled out to play in the next Panthers football game on Sunday afternoon at Bank Of America Stadium when the San Diego Chargers (5-7) take on the Panthers in a football game for diehards.
Kuechly has been not cleared to play football by the medical staff of the team on Saturday. Kuechly suffered a concussion injury on a Thursday night football game versus the New Orleans Saints in Week 11 of the 2016 National Football League regular season schedule.
Even though Kuechly was able to join his teammates in practice on Friday, he will not be able to join his teammates on Sunday versus the Chargers.
The Panthers (4-8) who are the defending National Football Conference Champions can only hope to run the table just to avoid having a losing season for the first time since 2014 when they won the National Football Conference South Division with a record of 7-8-1.
Kuechly should be able to return to play football on December 19, 2016 when the Washington Redskins will host the Panthers on ESPN Monday Night Football.
