The University of South Florida on Sunday have hired former University of Texas head coach Charlie Strong to replace Willie Taggart who was hired by the University of Oregon who was introduced by the new Ducks coach on Thursday. Strong had a coaching record of 37-15 with the Louisville Cardinals from 2010-2013 and a coaching record of 16-21 with the University of Texas football program from 2014-2016. Taggart will replace Mark Helfrich as the Ducks head coach. Helfrich was fired at the end of the 2016 college football season after he coached the football team from 2013-2016. Strong will be coaching his third college football team starting in 2017. The Bulls are confident that he will have success coaching them like he did with the Louisville Cardinals program.

That is true. Charlie also had a chance to work with Willie Taggart at Oregon as his coaching staff if he wanted to stay away from head coaching at U S F.

It's like a merry-go-round of coaching changes.
