Anyone else on Crowd Tap?

I just got this in my email about them "resetting" the points wheel?
Maybe it's because I'm tired, but I don't get it. So, they're making it so that we get more points, or that it takes a shorter time to collect points, or...? 
I mean, "return to their original values" sounds to me like they're decreasing something? But according to the rest of the note we'll get points faster? Not sure why I'm not getting this...

i must of missed that email. i try to get as many crowdtap points as often as possible, but i had totally forgotten about it until just now.

No idea .. I didn't get an email but I stopped using Crowdtap a little since I needed 1,500 points to cash out for $5 when it was 1,000 points.
