My great uncle and I must've been shot or stabbed in the thigh.

I want to say I have had this discussion before, but if so, it's been quite some time. I was skimming through an article today about birth marks and past lives.
Some cultures put soot or paste on their loved ones before they pass, this way they will be able to recognize their loved ones when they re-incarnate.
Some believe that the birth mark signifies not only the way a person died, but is only visible to those who died violently.
I have the same birth mark as my great uncle. On my outer left thigh there is a pinkish circular mark. My great uncle had the same thing. He died two years before I was born or two years after, I can't rightly remember which.
Do you have a birth mark anywhere? If so, do you share the birthmark with a family member like I do?
Article I Was reading :
Researchers at the University of Virginia have investigated hundreds of cases in which birthmarks or defects seem to correspond to past life memories. Many were verified with autopsy reports.

I've got a small birth mark on the front of my right thigh, it's got a lot lighter over the years, it's a sort of faded beige colour now. Leonard has a small red one on his forehead, and another one at the back of his neck, which is the same as one ny nana has

Yes, it brings you that much closer to the person. It could just be a coincidence, after all medical science says it's just tissue.

Nope, just a lot of freckles.
When I was a kid I had the same exact freckle pattern on my arm as my mother did. As I got older it changed as I got more freckles.. but I remember noticing how my freckles matched hers.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I didn't do it on purpose... I was sitting next to her and put my arm up for comparison and happened to notice.

Hmmm, not sure if this applies to me but me and my grandma both have a mole right under our right nostril (the size and position both match) and are moles considered birthmarks? Seems like this mole means we would be enjoying good food in our lives, so it's no wonder I'm always hungry?

I think some consider moles as birth marks? I've a family member that considers it as such.
I've never heard this, moles mean enjoying good food.

Yes, birth marks could all be just a matter of coincidence...
