Why are rainbows associated with gays ?

I love the rainbow, and different kinds of them , like window decals, wind socks, flags, ect., but I feel if I use them people around the neighborhood will think I am gay.

No . Rainbows are not associated with gays. assuming that you are a male ; And you love nature . your neighbors may think that loving nature is female's fassion . hence they are behaving like that . you need not worry . let your affection continue . see : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual
