More Goals For Today

I want to do some laundry today and put away my summer clothes. I had started to do that earlier this month and got sidetracked. I’m actually going to get rid of some clothes that are too big for me, since I’ve lost 40 pounds, of which I am happy about. I want to copy more of my articles for publication into a “memoirs” book for my children and grandchildren. I’m way behind on that project. I also need to decide what I am going to pack for my trip to North Carolina later this month. So, I’m going to make a list today. I usually pack light, because, they have a washer and dryer if I need to wash clothes. No need to take a lot of clothes. I’m going to use my method of setting the kitchen timer so that I can dedicate a certain period of time to each project. It may sound like a crazy thing to do, but it works for me and I usually get a whole lot more done when I do it that way. First thing, coffee and breakfast. I bought some fresh orange juice yesterday also. So, I’ll have a small glass of that. And then start on my stuffed peppers. I’ll have that for lunch and there will be enough for tomorrow too. You will see me on here off and on all day and evening. My goal is to put up at least five articles and to spend at least an hour responding to other posts.

The kitchen timer is a good way to keep a record of the activities and time for your day´s plans. I usually don´t measure the time during the consecution of my plans, I just do them as they come; sometimes, I may do a bit of one and then do a bit of another one

Not all went as planned because my computer was acting up all day. I like to work for an hour or two on the computer and then go do something else for an hour and then come back to the computer. But, I couldn't connect and I had to restart the computer and when that didn't work, I had to unplug it and even that didn't work. So, I left it alone, thinking that it was something to do with the internet connection. Now it seems to be working fine. It's very exasperating!

@IreneVincent I can understand the frustration. It has happened to me a few times. I´m one of those persons who thinks that very important things are to be done with the computer. Most of the times, they are important to me, but not for others. At least you were able to get online and post on Mylot. That is a good accomplishment.

Everything was going along fine until my online plans were curtailed. Either my computer or the internet connection or the mylot site was messed up and I didn't get anything done there. Rats.

Well, I got most of it done, but the computer has been acting up all day, so I didn't get some of that done. Makes me so mad.
