Dial *228 then press call when verizon answers listen and then press # 1 this will update your phone. Then hand up and wait for the beeps. Call *228 again, this time press # 2 and it will update you to the nearest tower. You should do this once a month, and when you move. Especially to get the newest tower for the most bars. *228
