There are certainly many of us who have, at one time or another, typed a web address in a search window in a browser so fast that we missed a character or even misspelled part of a URL address and were directed to another site that might look just like the one we were intending to go to and for this reason one might mistakenly think they were at the site they intended to reach but only to find that this was a mistake.
Phishing sites like to make themselves look like legit sites and for this reason they can often mimic a real website.
Here is an example of why you should always correctly enter your exact URL address in a browser's search box:
