Everyone is rushing around, buying up electronics and exotic scents to place under christmas trees across the land.
I think it would be nice to go back to some old world ways, oranges and and candy canes, big meals with family and friends, christmas stories told around the fire...decorating the tree with hand made ornaments.
I think the feeling of wellbeing and peace from such activities would be far superior to the media hyped rush rush christmas of today...
What do you think?

I think you are right. Christmas has become so commercialized. I too am guilty. I doubt that it will ever go back to those ways.

I'm guilty too, it's hard to keep things toned down with so much glitz and glitter everywhere.
I doubt we'll go back either...but it sure would be nice!
