I was lax, so let's catch up with #5 in my Favorite Lakers Players series: Shaquille O'Neal.
Known as "Shaq," Shaquille O'Neal played 19 seasons in the NBA, eight of them with the Los Angeles Lakers. A big, strong center, Shaq was, during his time with the team, a three time NBA Champion, a three time NBA Finals MVP, and the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2000. He is also on the NBA 50'th Anniversary Team.
In his eight Lakers seasons, Shaq scored 13,895 points, dished out 1593 assists, pulled down 6,090 the rebounds, and blocked 1,278 shots. I'd say he was pretty good.
I've been keeping this to players I remember watching. Well, I got to see Shaq play a few times during his tenure with the Lakers. Granted, they were all games against the Denver Nuggets, but I saw him a few times. And you know what? He was fun to watch.
We put together Shaquille O'Neall's greatest memories, moments, and highlights while with the Los Angeles Lakers prior to his induction into the Hall Of Fame...

Bob Cousy never played for the Lakers, unfortunately. It would have been great if he had.

Shaq was Shaq. Clogging the middle with his bulk and the little guys bouncing into him.
