Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton has been listed as questionable on the National Football League injury report.
Newton did have a full practice session on Saturday after his body of work was limited on Thursday and Friday due to an injury to his right shoulder.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera did make a statement on Saturday that Newton will be his starting quarterback when the Washington Redskins (7-5-1) who are in the playoff hunt will be hosting the defending National Football Conference Champions at FedEx Field in Landover Maryland on Monday Night Football.
The Panthers (5-8) can only hope to win their remaining three football games to have a breakeven season since their chances to make the playoffs will be done by the time their game against the Redskins is played.
The interest of this football game will be that Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman would love to beat his former team that allowed him to enter the free agent market at the end of the 2015 football season.
On the other side of the coin, the Panthers would love to play the role of spoiler to the remaining teams on their schedule who may or may not be in the playoff hunt.

Superman found his Kryptonite this year. I am sure New Orleans Saints are rejoicing in his demise this year.

I don't think so. So many key injuries on our O line this year. He doesn't have the same protection as last year. I would like to see a new offensive coridinator come in. Dave Shula has hampered Cam from being able to mix his running game this year. Last year he allowed Cam to make choices on drives which worked in our favor. This year he hasn't. Just my thoughts. Love my Panthers

@Dena91 I don't watch much Panthers football. I do know us Bear fans want to see Cutler go. He is just a hot mess.

The Panthers do not have a very good offensive line to take care of Cam Newton this year.

I know what you mean. I miss this confidence this year.
