What can I say, who can disagree with that, right? Therefore, since the GOP Senate led by Mitch McConnell refused to bring President Obama's nominee up for a vote despite the fact that Obama had won not one but two elections by healthy margins including the majority of the popular vote, I suggest there should be no SCOTUS vacancies filled until at least after the winner of the 2020 election takes office.
Of course, another solution would have been to go ahead and confirm Merritt Garland before the end of this year but obviously that's not going to happen. Here's hoping for some payback the next four years.

I do not like the political calculations behind the election of the members of your Supreme Court. The members of our Supreme Court are nominated by the President, but he has to follow the choice given by our higher council for the judiciary for this nomination, i.e. the members of the Supreme Court are designated by other judges and not by politicians.

I agree, I don't think it will happen. By the way, I love your profile quote. "Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff." I am currently reading the book and it's slowly changing my attitude on life. I look forward to connecting with you!
