Wine of the night and free soda

Since I'm working part-time in retail right now, my "weekend" starts now. So I decided to stop for wine on the way home, which was fun because I had to leave the car running so the battery wouldn't die, which is another story altogether. (I took the remote off my keychain so I could lock the doors). I also bought a 2-liter bottle of Diet Coke, because I like to have my soda fix and I ran out of Coke Zero yesterday. I asked how much the soda was, knowing full well that I would probably buy it anyway, and he gave it to me for free. I thought that was nice. So my wine of the night is Fisheye Merlot, in no small part due to the fact that they were selling a larger bottle (1.5L, I think?) for $9.99. Since it's a large bottle, we'll call it the wine of the week.
