It's Getting Scary Out There

A world recovering from a global financial meltdown. A world in which extremist and far right politicians and parties are blaming society's ills on single segments, who are different in some way. A world in which nationalism is on the rise. A world in which "leaders" focus on "restoring greatness" that has been lost due to those they blame. A world in which certain segments are becoming isolationistic, and others are becoming more aggressive. Any of that sound familiar? Does that seem to describe the world we live in today? If it does, you should worry. That was the 1930s I described, and the things that led to World War II.
