Two dozen mince pies ....yum yum !

Yes, today I took the plunge and made some mince pies ....not only that ....I made my own pastry too. I don't think that I have actually made pastry before as I am not really that keen ... but ... if a job is worth doing ... and all that . Anyway, they didn't turn out half bad ... even if I do say so myself. I don't actually like mince pies but everyone else in the family does so they will soon be munched away !

no ! these are the sweet mince meat pies....dried fruit, sugar and spices.

@Traceyjayne ahh i see.. i haven't tried it really. we had it last sunday. the rest enjoyed it with brandy sauce

Do you actually mean 2 dozen of the full size or 2 dozen of individuals one.

2 dozen individual ones . Here in England it is tradition to have the smaller ones.
