The difference between a Leader and a Boss

Some managers are really good leaders. They are very hands-on and give constructive criticisms for someone to improve. Unfortunately, others are bossy. They don't realize they're making other people's lives miserable by always making them feel they're wrong regardless of the effort they are putting on their work. I wonder why this type of managers don't realize that.

I've worked for both types of managers, both in the military and in the private sector. I've always tried to be a leader rather than a boss, whether I was a squad leader, shift supervisor, or audit manager. Now as a teacher, I still work to lead my students rather than boss them.

That's a very good example. Because that example will shape your students. They will grow up and may become managers in the future. I hope bossy people will realize that.
