The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Friday have reached a one year, $4 million dollar agreement with former Washington Nationals outfielder Ben Revere. Revere, 28, became a free agent when the Washington Nationals decided to offer Revere a non tender contract at the end of the 2016 Major League Baseball season after he had a batting average of .217 playing in 103 games for the National League East Division champions. Revere will have a chance to revive his baseball career with the Angels in 2017. One reason that Revere was not going to return to the Nationals in the 2017 Major League Baseball season was due to the fact that the Nationals signed free agent outfielder Adam Eaton as his replacement. Revere has played in the Major Leagues with the Minnesota Twins (2010-2012), Philadelphia Phillies (2013-2015), Toronto Blue Jays (2015) and the Washington Nationals (2016).
