Ballerina Slippers Tomorrow Morning

Every morning, it's my job to bake the Christmas Muffins. I found the recipe in an old Betty Crocker cookbook from 1981 and I have been making them ever since! They are not overly sweet, as you dip them once they are cooked in melted butter and cinnamon sugar. But back to the ballerina slippers. The kitchen is right over darling daughter's room and if I don't want to wake her up, I will have to find my slippers... not that anything will wake her up. I think that elephants could run through the house and even they wouldn't wake her up... even on Christmas morning.

That sounds like my niece. To prove to me once that I wouldn't be able to wake up my niece, who is five, my sister grabbed her daughter's arms, shook them up and down, and that little sweetheart didn't even open an eyelid. Oh to sleep like a child!

Good luck finding your slippers. I make fresh cranberry orange muffins on Christmas morning. Its a tradition that I've been doing for probably 15 years or so. I love fresh cranberries so much. Merry Christmas from Ontario!
