The Toronto Blue Jays who lost the services of their outfielder Edwin Encarnacion to the Cleveland Indians recently are open to making a trade of their players to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for their outfielder Andrew McCutchen according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports on Saturday. The Blue Jays also have on their wish list outfielders Curtis Granderson and Jay Bruce who are currently with the New York Mets. The Blue Jays are in danger of losing free agent outfielder Jose Bautista. It would behoove the Blue Jays to find a huge bat to replace Bautista and Encarnacion if they intend to be playoff contenders in 2017.

To stay competitive, the Jays have to get a name with Encarnacion gone and most likely Bautista. They have got the money from them to spend.

The Blue Jays need new bats to replace Bautista and Encarnacion in 2017.
