Kindness of strangers

I finally got the roomie to go see Doctor Strange.
We had gone out to her folks for Christmas and on the way back to town we realized we could make the 4 o'clock showing of the movie.
Most of the roomie's knowledge of comics come from movies since, with her limited vision, she has trouble reading them.
But mostly we wanted to see this movie because Benedict Cumberbatch was playing Dr. Strange.
Now, this theater has stadium seating, so we weren't sitting on the front row. There are some seating below the level that is the accessible row that leaves off most seats for wheel chair accessibility.
There were a few times when I leaned over and said something to her - like the scene where Stan Lee was in a bus.
I watched the movie, enjoying the "scenery" when I noticed the roomie had gone to sleep. I nudged her, she woke up for a bit, then I had to nudge her again to wake up.
Well, it had been a long day...
At the end of the movie, she popped up out of the seat like it was nothing.
I, on the other hand, was having a little trouble getting up because the seat was so low.
A man walking by, stops, and helps me up. I was very grateful for his help. Yes, I could've gotten up by myself, but his help got me up much faster. I thanked him several times because I am never sure I'm doing enough to let people know.
Now if only he had been around back on the 17th when I fell in the yard!
