Seattle Seahawks defensive back Earl Thomas on Sunday on his Twitter account laid rumors to rest that he was going to retire from playing football in the National Football League after he broke his leg during the Seahawks win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday December 4, 2016.
Thomas tweeted on his Twitter account "I'll def by back next year." Which is good news for the fans of the Seattle Seahawks.
Thomas, 27, was a first round draft choice of the Seattle Seahawks in the 2010 National Football League Draft out of the University of Texas.
Thomas is one of the most valuable players in the Legion Of Boom which is the nickname of the Seahawks defense.
Even though his playing time is finished in 2016, his return to the team next year will boost the chances of the Seahawks to get back into playoff contention.

He's only 27. There's time to recover unlike being 37.
