Is there anyplace in Australia that you can live free while you work ?

I want to try living there, but not sure and short on money to live on. Anyone know of hostels or places to stay while you work ?

there miht b companies here that will provide accomodation while you work such as fruit picking

hi, lots of backpacker places will let you stay for free if you help out around the place. I hoovered in one place, made the free soup each evening in another, you can also hand out leaflets at backpacker bus stops and drop offs etc just ask when you arrive. have a great time!
