That is because we might as well change this song to Anarchy in the US . Of course, England just had Brexit. Pretty funny to think the US separated from England, but now wants to be all like them. I guess that is with the right side of things.
As much as I love the attitude and style of this song. There is only one problem. That would be the message. Anarchy does not work and is really a young persons dream Sounds awesome when you are young, but when you get older and see how the world should work.
Anarchy just adds to the confusion of corruption. That is why most punk rock bands I know dropped that ideology a long time ago. It is straight rebellion and sad to say as always people use our words and actions against us. They want that rebellion to be anarchy. The true will get it right more times than not. Sorry if you fell for rebellion that was disguised as anarchy. Yes, talking about you the United States of America.
They fooled you and all I see is anarchy in the US along with the UK.
Okay... Over 1 millon views. Amazing! ---- From Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols album. Relased at 1977. Genre: Punk Rock LYRICS: Right ! now ...

They were just singing provocative songs for a juvenile public. The best for me was their version of "God save the Queen". It is childish but it reached the top of hit parades in the UK, despite or perhaps because the BBC and IBC refused to play it. For provocation punks have been replaced later by rappers. The best thing a politician can offer to a rapper today is to start a libel suit for a song : 9/10 they are discharged by courts, and they are sure to have a real success

I do get that and do like the God save the queen song more. The problem is some people take things to literal. lol

And yet, kids are still walking around with Anarchy symbols painted on the back of their leather, even though the band's dropped it long ago.

True and some bands that were early on still sport them and some dropped it. I really look at that. Tells me a lot about them.I can listen but unless their own Idea cannot take serious.
