One night the GF and I went driving around looking at the various houses with
christmas decorations and lights. There seemed to be quite a few more than usual that decorated this year.
We saw a house with its lights syncronized to music that you can listen to on your cars FM radio. It was pretty cool until the Frozen song came on, I drove off.
Then we came upon a tree with the big avocado sized light bulbs on it. The tree looked ready to be harvested of its fruit. My GF reacted with a bit of aww-
GF: Oh wow. Those are big and bright lights.
Me: Poor tree has Christmas cancer!
GF: What?
Me: The lights, they look like holiday tumors.
GF: -does the eye roll of disbelief-
Later, we saw a leafless tree. Nothing but trunk, branches and a lot of tiny lights.
GF: Thats a lot of tiny lights. . . dont say anything negative !
Me: . . .
GF: Ahh, say it, lets get it out of the way.
Me: Its got the snowflakes acne.
GF: Snowflakes?
Me: Yeah, snowflakes. Bunch of white little lights that look like zits ready to pop.
GF: How the he!! does your mind put up with you?
. . . and that was a taste of how I spent my holiday cheer with the GF.

Did you put up any outdoor lights? If you did I'm wondering how you would describe them.

@Plethos It's Christmas on desolate desert roads too, so I'll give your decorating theme some credit.

@clrumfelt - one year I decorated a cactus like a tree. Does that count?

You have some imagination to see Christmas decorations in that way.
