Carrie Fisher, best known for her portrayal of the plucky Princess Leia in George Lucas' epic intergalactic movie series, died Tuesday, days after suffering a heart attack on a plane.
R.I.P. Carrie Fisher. (I'm not a fan of Star Wars, but I'm human after all... It's a sad lost.

The toughest is on those who remain and it must be so hard for her mom at her age. I will pray for the family.

I'm not a Star Wars fan too. I heard it on the new this evening. Sigh..that's life. I will try to catch up on Star Wars I watch Rogue one but not the other films before it.

Of all the actors, actresses, and musicians that passed this year, only two stand out for me, the man who played Professor Snape in Harry Potter and now Carrie Fisher. This is a world shaking loss for Star Wars fans. I called my son as soon as I saw your headline and he knew about it. He is a major Star Wars fan, having been born at the time IV was in the theater. Carrie's mother, Debbie Reynolds is a wonderful singer and her father, Eddie Fisher was a good actor as well. Yes, RIP Carrie.
