ESPN football insider Adam Schefter reports the news on Wednesday former New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin, 70, is being interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching position.
Even though Doug Marrone is currently the interim head coach of the Jaguars after Gus Bradley was terminated after the Jaguars lost the last game he coached against the Houston Texans in Week 15, it is possible that Coughlin who has expressed a desire to coach in the National Football League again after he stepped down as the Giants head coach at the end of the 2015 football season could return to coach the team in the 2017 football season.
Coughlin was the first head coach of the Jaguars from 1995-2002. It remains to be seen if the Jaguars management plans to give Coughlin his desire to coach in the National Football League in 2017 or will they be looking for another football coach.

He seems a little old to tackle the situation despite all his experience.

When coaches return to their old teams the results are not as successful as their first runs.
