Favorite Rockies Players #7 - Matt Holliday

With Spring Training not far off, it's time to get in a baseball mood with #7 in my Favorite Rockies Players series: left fielder Matt Holliday.
Matt Holliday played four seasons with the Colorado Rockies, and was a member of Colorado's 2007 World Series team (they lost to the Boston Red Sox in four games.) During those four seasons, Holliday was a two time All Star, won three Silver Slugger Awards (he has four total,) and was named Rockies Player of the Year twice.
In fact, 2007 was Holliday's best year in a Rockies uniform. He was the National League Batting Champion, the National League RBI Leader, and the National League Championship Series MVP.
Holliday finally did win a World Series, in 2011, with the St. Louis Cardinals. He is currently a member of the New York Yankees.

@teamfreak16 He did make a swift escape from Oakland to St Louis so it worked out. A $13 million one year deal with the Yanks. Sweet paycheck.

Excuse my weirdness - it's probably just cause I got a headcold , but the first thing I thought was "I wonder if he gets picked on because of his name" and started thinking about the Madonna song "Holiday"
