I was reading a post by @DWDavis about his trip to a beach in this winter. Had questions whether there were seas that were frozen. I found an image of the frozen sea. My friend has walked over a frozen river in Russia and was wondering what if she came across thin ice!!! Have you walked over a frozen sea?

Thanks for the mention. I have not walked a frozen sea, but I have walked, skated, and driven on a frozen lake, and skied on a frozen, snow covered stream.

@allknowing Driving on the lake was quite thrilling. I had recently moved to New Hampshire from North Carolina and needed to learn quickly how to drive in winter conditions. This was a great way to learn. If I spun out, there was nothing to hit.

I would be afraid that the ice would break and I would fall into the sea and go under the water which would be very cold.
