Frozen sea

I was reading a post by @DWDavis about his trip to a beach in this winter. Had questions whether there were seas that were frozen. I found an image of the frozen sea.
My friend has walked over a frozen river in Russia and was wondering what if she came across thin ice!!!

@allknowing Driving on the lake was quite thrilling. I had recently moved to New Hampshire from North Carolina and needed to learn quickly how to drive in winter conditions. This was a great way to learn. If I spun out, there was nothing to hit.
