Today is New Year's Eve Eve, for those of you who enjoy giving days names. My sisters and I started with the Eve of the Eve of the Eve thing when we were little and were counting down to Christmas. I had to double check with the missus this morning to confirm today was Friday. After a few days vacation I tend to lose track. Does this happen to you? Today dawned bright and sunny here, but temps were down into the upper 30(F)s/between 2 & 3(C). With @Maluse encouragement, I will try to state all numeric measurements in both "standard" and metric heretofore. Rambling onto another topic for a moment, I remember being told in junior high science class that by the time we graduated high school the US would be on the metric system, so we'd better get used to it. That was 42 years ago. Still not on the metric system. Back on topic now. How are y'all planning on spending this last Friday of 2016?

I will be cleaning my room today, MyLotting, taking care of the kids and just spending the day at home. I have been losing track of my days lately since the kids are on break from Home Schooling. It has me all confused. Lol

The only thing we "have" to do today is drop my oldest son off at the airport this afternoon so he can catch his flight back to his duty station. Other than that, we're just relaxing and watching Star Wars movies on DVD.

Nursing my sick Dog and calming an aprehensive Husband as the Dog is not well. He has a Otitis again. But he has perked up in the past hour so he should be raring to go pretty soon. This Dog is amazing.

Since my husband retired, I usually have to stop and think what day it is, so yes, today is Friday. Tonight is a double celebration, the 7th day of Hanukkah and Shabbat. So not only is my family getting together to light 2 sets of candles, but I get to relax.
