I am sure some of mylotters here are online writers. Writing articles on one's blog is not as easy as one may think it to be. However, I have heard from a few bloggers who said that keywords shall be well selected as they may be highly competitive. You may have used keywords, which have been used by other bloggers, whose blogs have been around a lot longer than yours. But he added that we can use the same keywords but make sure your article should consists of above 800 words. This is tough for beginners to be sure. Do you have any good techniques with which our articles can come up on the first page of google search?

I am not in a position to give you tips. But this is sure that to attract large number of views an article must have SEO - Search Engine Optimization, for which keywords are considered important. At the same time, certain subjects draw more views than others. Even the title of the article matters.

Hi, I am just a new blogger. I keep on posting lengthy articles because I have learned that it is good for SEO. The least number of words that I post in my blog is about 500 words only. I did an experiment a while ago. I typed "Short Story Review The Centipede by Rony Diaz. It was position on number 2. I am also not knowledgeable about keywords. I am still learning and I am not sure when can I monetize my blog. When did you start to blog?

I started started in 2012 but visitors are small in number. Maybe because my articles are short.

I am not an expert but yes I learned that keyword is important, plus short/concise/common title, strong Backlinks, the longer the better for SEO with videos. images etc

I read an article that says that keywords are not as that important. keywords may be liked by the machine but not by the human.
